Half of a year!

Jared is 6 months old!  I can't believe it!  Time goes by so much faster when he is outside instead of inside!

• He weighs 17 lbs, 4 oz.  According to my measurements, he is 28".  We'll see get the official measurement next week when he goes to the doctor.
• He is everywhere!  He loves to move.  He is getting stronger and more adventurous every day.  He can get anywhere by scooting, but he practices real crawling all the time.  He is SO much happier!
• He can almost get himself into sitting from the crawling position.  He probably can, he just doesn't realize it.
• He is getting much more independent.  He wants to try to do everything on his own.  In a way this is good because he can now put himself to sleep (when he wants to).
• He has slept without being swaddled this whole week!  Finally!  I made him a new swaddle sack (since he outgrew his for the 2nd time) and he decided that he would rather not be swaddled, which I am fine with.
• He is going to start eating solids, which should be fun.
• We found out he is allergic to Johnson's baby lotion.
• He has started babbling.  When he is going to sleep, he says bababababababa while chewing (not sucking)  his pacifier
• He still doesn't have any teeth despite all the teething symptoms the last 3 months.

This will probably be the last car seat picture.  He's getting a little big for the car seat, and the changes in size aren't that dramatic anymore.
