Little Jared is now 9 months old! I can't believe it has been this long already! Despite how much more work he is now, it is definitely more enjoyable to have him out as opposed to in. He is a super busy boy and loves to play. Here is everything else that he has been up to recently:
-He is about 19.5 pounds
-He can take 3-4 steps independently, and is getting more confident every day
-He loves to "talk." He will crawl and/or cruise all around and the whole time he says, "ba ba ba," "pa pa pa," "ma ma ma," etc.
-He loves to play "catch." We roll a ball to him and he will throw it back.
-He is sleeping through the night half the time! It is so amazing!
-He wants to be involved in everything that we do. He can't stand it when we do something (like type on the computer) and not let him. He is very curious and attentive.
-He has two teeth! The two bottom middle ones.
-He eats everything we eat. The closest thing to baby food that he eats (not that he ever ate baby food) is Cheerios. He loves spicy things (like tacos). Sour things (like un-ripe strawberries) are he least favorite foods. He feeds himself and chews everything [with his gums].
-He gets into everything. I feel like I have to re-baby proof every day. He loves to open and close drawers and cabinets (and un-latched doors). Nothing is safe from this kid.
-He is intrigued by anything mechanical. He LOVES to play with the wheels on the stroller. He LOVES to adjust buttons, knobs, switches, etc.
-He is learning to climb stairs, but doesn't know now to go down them.

He was a little cautious of the blackberries at first...
...but it the end he liked them!
He loves food!
We tried to get Jared to take a bottle, but he thinks of bottles as more of a chew toy than of a source of food.
