On Friday, June 13th, Nate's work had an over night retreat in Midway. With a new baby, we chose not to attend which meant he had the day off work so we went hiking instead. We needed an easy hike since I had a baby less than 6 weeks ago and haven't had my postpartum visit yet and because Jared would be hiking and not be carried. We decided on Battle Creek Falls. It is also close to our house. Jared did really well! It was only about 2 miles and even though there were some really steep parts, he walked all but a quarter mile.
