We went to Idaho to visit Amy's family July 3rd-14th this year. We stayed with Amy's aunt in Meridian on July 3rd (Idaho Statehood Day) and lit off a few fireworks and enjoyed hanging out with family. We arrived in Cavendish on July 4th and lit off more fireworks that evening. We we a little worried about the 12 hour drive with Nicole because she hates the car, but one of us rode next to her and we put Jared in the very back. It worked out and thankfully she slept most of the time if we had our hand on her.
On July 7th my sister arrived late at night and on July 8th we went to Genesee to the University of Idaho Kambitsch farm where they were announcing the release of a new variety of wheat name Huffman after my brother. Here are a couple links to media released about it:

To me it is interesting that Brad wasn't ever one to seek attention or recognition for his achievements when he was alive, but not that he is gone, his name will be remembered for a long time through the scholarship fund and wheat variety. I still wish he was here with us though.
After the press release, we spent the rest of the week making wedding preparations and enjoying family time playing games and spending time outdoors. On July 12th, my sister got married and we left the next day, spending a night in Meridian again and arriving home on the 14th.
