Jared turned 3 on August 22. I can't believe it! He is getting so big!
*He is approximately 36 pounds and 39 inches tall, however he may have lost some weight because...
*In the last few weeks, he has quit eating and sleeping. It is super annoying. I made a whole bunch of lentil cookies for him to eat so he would get some nutrition, but he doesn't even eat those anymore. He hardly even touched his birthday cake. He only drinks milk. He also doesn't sleep hardly ever, but that isn't new.
*The last child-proofed thing in our house, the door knobs, is now no longer Jared-proof. We can't keep anything from him to keep him contained in any room anymore unless we lock it with him on the opposite side of the lock.
*He talks constantly and knows enough words to carry on a good conversation.
*He is obsessed with cars, trucks, tractors, combines, and all manner of machinery. I mean OBSESSED.
*He loves you to read to him (finally) but still has almost no interest in coloring or drawing.

him open 2 gifts and the cards that he had gotten for breakfast. He got cake, ice cream, and the rest of his presents the next day (which is today!) |
