On October 2, the kids (mainly Jared) were not having a good day, so consequently I was not having a good day. I got in the car and started driving and ended up on the way to Midway when I decided to take a detour to Cascade Springs. I had never been there, but I thought it would be fun. Initially, the road was one of the worst gravel roads I had ever been on (I got to test out the 4WD on our car). They seriously used boulders instead of gravel, but smoothed out to a worse than average gravel road. Once we got there I wasn't planning on actually hiking much, but it was actually really easy for Jared to we ended up walking the entire way around. It was a fun little place to visit!
