We went to Idaho June 19-27.
On our drive up, we stopped in Twin Falls and ate dinner. We also visited Shoshone Falls. We
visited last fall as well, but this time there was actually water! It said it was "low" water, but it was still a lot of water!
| He didn't want to fall asleep! |
| Tomahawk throwing once we got to the farm. Nate was really good! |
| Nicole's pigtails were exceptionally cute that day! |
While we were there Nate wanted to climb the grain elevator, so he and my dad did one evening.
| Nate's view from the top. |
| Again from the top. |
| Good ol' Kanobi |
| Leia actually sat still enough that I could take a picture! |
| Nicole loves animals. |
My Dad planned a little adventure with Jared and a neighbor's grandson Eli, at the end of the adventure was a hot dog roast (Nate took pictures of the adventure, but I don't have copies of those because it was using my parents' camera).
| I love fire! |
On the last full day we were there, we took a trip to the North Fork of the Clearwater River. It is so pretty up there!
We stopped in at Aquarius campground and then visited Quartz Creek/Crick.
To make it more comfortable for adults on the long drive, we put Jared and Nicole in the back so that no adults would have to ride back there.
| There was a land slide that created a dam and formed a natural reservoir. |
| Part of the landslide. See the giant boulder of pretty Quartz? I wanted to cut a slab and bring it home for my bathroom counter. |
| The kids loved playing in the water! |
| |
| Nicole loves water! |
We also went to Purple Beach.
| Jared having fun! |
| Nicole got way too messy! |
When we left, my parents drove down with us to Boise. It was a little eerie because it was very similar to the day Brad died. They were planning on driving down with us to meet Lisa in Boise, but we didn't go because Brad died. This time though we all drove together. Here is a family photo at Aunt Lori's house. The next day we headed back to Utah.
