Nicole is 18 months

Nicole turned 18 months on November 7th.  I can't believe my baby girl is that old!  She is a walking machine.  In fact, ever since she started walking, she has turned into a different child.  She is busy, busy, busy and into everything.  Before she was such a calm and patient baby, not she can't sit still for longer than a minute or two.  She used to sit all day and let us read her books, not anymore!

She has also given up on talking.  She started saying a few words before she turned one and then she learned how to walk and she doesn't talk anymore.  The pediatrician isn't concerned though because she understands everything we say and socially she is very advanced.  She has even made up her own version of sign language to get what she wants, but she is just too stubborn to talk (another character trait that developed alongside the walking).

I have gone from feeling comfortable with two kids to feeling overwhelmed by the amount of trash/laundry/toys that are EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME ever since she started walking.  We love her though, and she is so fun to watch learn about the world.  She wants to grow up so fast and do everything her big brother does.  She loves and insists that he must feed herself everything (even messy things unfortunately).

She is still a healthy girl.  At her checkup, she weighed 24 lbs, 4.5 oz (71st percentile) and 32.5 inches tall (70th percentile).

She moves too much for me to take photos of her.  Here she is one of the only photos I got of her looking at the camera.  This pretty much describes her personality!
She saw an airplane.
