Sasha, our dog!

Meet our dog Sasha!  We got her October 13th from Nuzzles and Co in Park City, Utah.  She is a complete mutt (she was rescued off an Indian reservation in New Mexico where the dogs breed uncontrolled).  She probably has some German Shepherd and Border Collie in her, but she is only 25 pounds so she has something small in her too.  She was about 10-11 months when we got her.  She had a rough start at our house because she got kennel cough right off the bat and had to get put on antibiotics, which made her sick, which forced her on anti-nausea pills, but she recovered quickly.  She is very willing to obey, but still has a touch of obnoxious puppy in her, however overall is very well-mannered for her age.  She is very mellow around other dogs, and submissive around people.  In other words, much different than my childhood dog, Nick (not to mention 50 pounds lighter).  She is good with the kids, and loves belly rubs and attention.  We think we lucked out on getting a pretty good shelter dog.
